About the Item
This Danish modern, leather upholstered, rosewood armchair is in the style of the iconic Danish designer Hans J Wegner’s chair model JH501, released in 1949. This model was so well-loved, it universally became known as "The Chair", an honor that no other chair design has received since. This rosewood armchair features a cane wrapped back which is consistent with earliest versions of the JH501 model. The seat is newly upholstered in sleek cognac leather.
