Fine 19th Century English Walnut Tall Back Hall Chair

About the Item

A very well made, sturdy and quite comfortable antique armchair with custom fabric treatment. The walnut hall chair with sloping tall back. The curved arms with scrolled ends and turned supports. Raised on elaborate turned front legs with bun feet and turned H stretcher. Square sloping back legs. Newly upholstered in an elegant brown on ecru triangular pattern fabric. Dark brown braid trim overall with oversized brass nail-head accents. Measures: 26” wide by 25.5” deep, 47.5” high. Seat height 17” Condition: overall good condition with slight wear to the feet and the chair presenting very well.
