About the Item

This beautiful pair is a show-stopper. During restoration, the chairs were completely rebuilt. For the finish, we chose the gorgeous Cristobal Throws by fashion brand, Colville. The vibrant colors and pattern create a modern piece destined for an incredible room. Brass nail heads finish the upholstery. About the Fabric // The beautiful fabric chosen for this piece are the vibrant and colorful Cristobal throws found in Colville's home collection and carried at Forsyth. In a small mountain town in the Chapas region of Mexico, Colville works with local artisans whose skills have been passed down through the generations and have remained unchanged by modern culture. From the careful dyeing of the yarns and the spinning of the threads to the meticulous hand finishing, every piece is painstakingly produced following a time-worn process that requires patience and an intuitive understanding of needlework and fabric structure. These unique pieces have a wider influence too, as part of a pattern of ethical and sustainable progress, helping a community to support their families and ensuring that this beautiful tradition is kept alive. Each woven piece is one-of-a-kind, so any small imperfections add intrinsic value to your item, there to be cherished as the emblems of a rare and singular craft.
