Fine craftsmanship and lavish carvings abound in this handsome Renaissance Revival sideboard, which was created in France in the late-19th century from European oak and finished with a rich, dark stain. Bowed at the sides, the sideboard's top is beveled with decorative, egg and dart trim. Carvings of animals from the day's hunt are suspended from ribbon bows on the front doors that open to generous storage with a single shelf.
