About the Item

This incredible pair of rounded armchairs designed by Geraldo de Barros (1923-1998) and manufactured by Unilabor has a wood structure with fabric upholstery and pointy turned feet in solid wood. The pieces are in original condition, and can be restored by our Workshop as the client's taste. The Unilabor community was founded in 1954 by Geraldo de Barros and a Dominican Priest. De Barros designed and projected furniture based on his constructive references to Concrete Art. From 1954 to 1961, Unilabor is one of the standing marks in furniture design in São Paulo. Its social characteristic is well renowned, based on principles of community work. Unilabor furniture was comfortable and elegant, reflecting in its structure the ingenuity of its authors. The internal structure is in very good condition, with no structural damages. The upholstery is in original condition; the upholstery service by our Workshop is included as a courtesy. The client can chose the fabric as their taste.
