About the Item

For your consideration is this rare model 2254 ½ armchair designed by Paul Frankl in all-original, unrestored condition. It features a sculptural solid wood frame with delicate curves and a distinctive window cutout in the backrest. The arm height is 25". The chair is nicely proportioned to work well in any room of the house. Manufactured by Johnson Furniture for retailer, John Stuart, the chair has three original tags on the underside of the seat. Reupholstery recommended for use.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Structurally excellent & sturdy with no loose joints. Reupholstery recommended. Seat foam has disintegrated to dust and needs replacement. Fabric has stains as pictured. Finish has wear as pictured–some scratches, nicks, varnish loss, paint flecks.
