About the Item
The Cesca chair, designed by the Italian architect and designer Marcel Breuer in 1928, is one of the most iconic pieces of modernist furniture. It combines a sleek tubular steel frame with woven cane or upholstered seat and back, blending function with style. Breuer, known for his innovative use of materials, was one of the pioneers of the Bauhaus school and a key figure in the development of modern design.
