About the Item

“Commander” armchair designed by Jorge Zalszupin for l’Atelier. Solid aluminum, plastic, fiberglass and new mustard color leather cushions. This Brazilian design icon was designed to attend to the growing market for office furniture. The first model was developed between 1972 and 1973 and had casters, later, it gave rise to a variation with fixed feet. The seat and backs are composed of a single curved volume of fiberglass, where the leather cushions rest. The armrests and feet are in well-made solid aluminum structure. This piece is also known for its comfort.
