A very rare 19th Century well figured, richly patinated mahogany hall bench of exceptional quality, finely hand carved with fabulous reeded detail thoughout. The decorative pierced back rail with an elegantly carved pierced panel with ring turned spindles is raised above moulded seat and shaped frieze with scroll motif detail, flanked with lovely downward swept outscrolling arms. Supported on gracefully, tapering outscrolling leg, conjoined with stretcher.
