English William IV Mahogany Hall Seat Hall Bench

About the Item

K0607 Superb William IV hall bench in mahogany, having panelled gallery to the back edge with S shaped scroll carving to the centre, solid mahogany seat with moulded edge and finely carved ends above shaped front and side frieze, all standing on flat faceted tapering legs. This antique hall seat came to us from a private individual, it has been sympathetically restored in last few years, including strengthening to the underside and some carving repairs. The seat has been very well looked after over the years and it is in home ready condition. A true statement piece. c1830 H26.5" H18"-seat W60.5" D15" H67cm H46cm-seat W154cm D39cm
