This stately sofa is a stunning example of the Dutch Haagse School period. Crafted with exceptional attention to detail, the rich wood grain enhances its geometric form. The 'Haagse School' or Hague School was a movement in architecture and design, and a variant of Art Deco. Designs from this period are easily recognizable by the straight and cubic shapes often used in the designs of furniture that reflect the style of architecture from that period in time.
