Pair Of Vintage Louis XVI Style Carved And Upholstered Fauteuils
About the Item
The pair of elegant fauteuils have low oval shaped backs and carved reeded and scrolled arm ends on tapering supports with fluted bases. The wide oval seats are raised on fluted tapering legs with carved floral tops and ending in peg feet. Upholstered in a fine white tone on tone floral damask type fabric.
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and use including scrapes to one chair top rail and arms. Some spot stains to one seat back and cushion, both chairs with spots on the upholstered frames underneath the cushions. Overall elegant and delicate chairs with a refined presentation.
