Rare, exceptional pair of period Louis XVI, Marquis Chairs, 1780. The frame a lacquered off white, upholstered in leather, the rectangular back over padded arms having reeded carving and scrolling, over a square cushioned seat over round ring turn and stop-fluted carved legs. Paire des marquises.
