About the Item

Eugenio Gerli (Milan, 15 July 1923 – Milan, 2 October 2013) was an Italian architect and designer. During an intense professional career, lasting more than six decades, he built villas, condominiums, office buildings, factories, banks, shops, and restored historic buildings. He often completed his works with custom-made interiors and furniture. This broad spectrum of experiences, together with his initial engineering studies, is the basis of his industrial design projects, many of which are now classics: the S83 chair, the PS 142 Clamis armchair, the Jamaica cabinet, the Graphis office system.
