Set of Four 19th Century French Renaissance Barley Twist Chairs

About the Item

Set of four 19th century French Renaissance Barley twist chairs are perfect for a cozy breakfast nook, a wine room, or just to spread about the home or office for occasional use! Hand-carved from dense, old-growth oak, each features an incredible grapevine motif sculpted to frame the seatback cushion, which in turn is flanked by clockwise and counter-clockwise barley twist columns. The barley twist motif continues in vertical and horizontal form on the support structure under the fully upholstered seats. The upholstery itself has been recently applied, and is of a very high quality fabric with a subtle, pastel green tone. Timeless! Circa 1870s Each measures 42.5H x 19W x 17.5D; seat 19.5H.
