The color red was difficult to capture in photos. I would classify the color as a “red red” and less orange shown in some photos.
Originally designed in 1926 for the International Exposition, the Barcelona chair was reconfigured in 1950 from a two-part bolted frame to a single stainless steel frame as seen here, Knoll continued production from 1953 to present, and lists this chair as one of the most recognized objects of the last century.
These would be a wonderful addition to any Mid-Century, contemporary, bauhaus, minimal or post modern interior...
