About the Item
A whimsical fantasy hand carved chair by the great Venetian craftsman of the era. This lovely piece features an unique seahorse carved back and scallop shell seat retaining much of its antique silvered wood. The legs are carved in the shape of shells and coral. The chair is in very good antique condition and retains its one support bracket to the back of the chair to sustain its structure for the next couple of centuries
