About the Item

Marcel Breuer for Tecta, 'The Mobile Manifesto' chaise longue, model F41-E, cane wicker, steel, rubber, Germany, designed circa 1928 and manufactured 1984 This design by Hungarian-born modernist architect and furniture designer Marcel Breuer (1902-1981) dates from around 1928. Throughout his designs, like in this lounge on wheels, his interest for cycling and lightweight construction is evident. Its open and pure exterior will come forward nicely in a relaxing atmosphere, like a patio or a studio space, both indoors and outdoors. A clever and inventive feature is the fifth weel that allows the user to move along in the most relaxed position possible. A brilliant combination of relaxation and movement.    Kindly note that this piece is in good, used condition.
