Georgian Style Mahogany Corner Chair
About the Item
With classic Georgian curved openwork splats. The carved crest rail ending in scrolled arms, with three turned supports. The seat rail with shaped ends raised on a front cabriole leg with wide knee and two back square and cylindrical legs with pad feet. With a turned X stretcher. The slip seat upholstered in tan on tan print fabric with ecru lacy trim, all now in need of replacement.
H. 33 1/2", W. arms 32", Depth 30", seat H. 18"
Condition: Please see all detail photos. The seat is stained and worn with loose trim, trim ripped, stable age crack and loss (See photo) in one splat, chip to edge of one turned support top, expected wear to arm ends and some old gouges which do not detract from the fine presentation.
