Instead of hiding the structures under fabric, Alain Gilles literally X-rayed the welcoming and comfortable traditional sofa to create a graphic and sculptural range of seats for the home and the office. As a result, the pieces are captivating both from the front and from the back.

The modest dimensions of the daybed are a benefit here, as they gently force you to spend some time on your own. Part of the basic furnishings of any upscale interior in the 1920s, the flat daybed has been enjoying a Renaissance for several years now.
Our daybed caused a stir more than 30 years ago, with its elaborate patchwork processing and freely placeable back cushions. This timeless Classic has now been gently updated. It is available both as a daybed and as a small lounge sofa, too.
The daybed doubles as a lounge sofa the daybed DS-80 has established itself as a timeless Classic by De Sede ever since it was launched in 1969: to this day, the model is a paradigm of highclass leather manufacture and
popular all-over the world.
