1980s Set of Six Davis Allen Andover Chairs for Stendig in Red Lacquer

About the Item

This is a set of six Andover Dining Chairs, designed by Davis Allen for Stendig in 1983. This particular set was manufactured in Italy in the mid-80s. The chairs have frames of solid beech which have a red lacquered finish and they retain their original upholstery. The set is in very good condition and has been well-maintained. There are some signs of wear and use on the chairs. See photos. This set consists of 4 armless chairs, and 2 armchairs. The listed price includes all 6 chairs. We do have a number of additional matching Andover chairs in our inventory, including both arm chairs and side chairs. Please inquire if you have interest in additional pieces. If you would like the lacquer to be re-done or for instance re-done in black, we have some skilled refinishers who we work with regularly. Each arm chair measures 36.25 inches tall , 21.5 inches wide and 21 inches deep. Each side chair measures 36 inches tall, 19 inches deep, and 21.5 inches wide. The seat height is 18 inches on both models.
