Antique Set of 8 Chippendale Chairs includes 2 Armchairs
About the Item
Antique Set of 8 Chippendale Chairs includes 2 Armchairs and was hand-crafted from fine imported mahogany with classic lines including boldly scrolled cabriole legs with talon & ball feet. Subtle carved detail creates an elegant effect, while the caned seats provide lightweight comfort, especially in warm climates! The classic design features a double-arched seat back with a full, wide splat accented with scrolls and foliate carvings. On the armchairs, the back is connected to two very sturdy contoured armrests. Both side and armchairs also feature contoured aprons connected to the back legs which are continuous, single pieces of wood from the floor to the joint at the very top, and the front cabriole legs with their tailored carved detailing.
