Set of Six Antique Swedish Rococo Dining Chairs With Gray Paint, circa 1880
About the Item
This lovely set of six dining chairs exude a graceful country charm. While likely from a Swedish farm house, these speak to a more upscale home with a touch of elegance due to the extra elements of carved details and the shapely curves of the backs and cabriolet legs.
The 2 armchairs and 4 side chairs have been given a professional custom gray painted finish and are lightly scraped creating a nice contrast with the natural wood beneath which accentuate the classic lines of the Rococo style.
Stretchers support the curved legs that finish in a ball and claw foot on the front legs only.
The padded seats are removable which makes recovering an easy process. They currently have a simple linen fabric covering the seat pad.
