A very good looking and well-made stool, it has been upholstered with high grade premium cattle hide leather which has been hand dyed this nice cigar brown colour, the leather is held in place with vintage hand hammered studs.
This is what's called a show frame stool, it is very ornate and was made for a fair or Exhibition, the idea being it showed off the craftsman's talent, the timber is rosewood and it is sublime!
The stool has been fully restored, the leather upholstery is all brand new, its Premium Italia fully aniline cattle hide which is upholstered plain then hand dyed six times, antiqued, sealed, waxed down and polished, this is the finest example of this type of stool you will see anywhere
