Troika Lounge Chairs Model by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy for Airborne

About the Item

We're delighted to present this fantastic pair of Troika lounge chairs, designed by Pierre Guariche and Paul Geoffroy for Airborne in the 1960s, currently housed in our workshop in Portugal. These sculptural chairs embody the radical yet refined approach of mid-century French design, blending geometric precision with effortless comfort. The angular seat and backrest rest on a sleek chrome-plated steel base, creating a floating effect that enhances the chair’s modernist aesthetic. Recently reupholstered in rich tan leather, the new upholstery brings out the chair’s elegant proportions while maintaining its original integrity. A timeless collector’s piece, this set captures the spirit of avant-garde French industrial design, making it a sophisticated statement for contemporary interiors. ----- We are an exhibition space and an online destination established by the passionate art director behind Jonathan Amar Studio. Our gallery presents a harmonious mix of iconic and engaging 20th century pieces and bespoke contemporary lighting. With a strong focus on Italian mid-century designs, his success strives from sourcing designs with striking shapes, creative techniques and interesting materials that cross the concept of time in the same way a Spirit does.
Our 350 square meter workspace includes a luminous gallery, a restoration atelier where our expert artisans in metalwork, woodwork, upholstery, and electrics; restore each piece with the mission to honor a balance between restoration and preservation.
