Triple Strand Rattan Sofa & Chair Orange Fabric Cushions Style Heywood Wakefield
By Heywood-Wakefield Co.
Located in Topeka, KS
Wonderful vintage triple strand rattan sofa and chair in the style of Heywood Wakefield with zippered orange nubby fabric and original foam filled cushions. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that these are vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There are a couple of stains on the spring covers. It has been vacuumed, the frames have been cleaned and a coat of amber sealer. The fabric and cushions are in wonderful condition but there is a “crispy” sound to them. It is not the cushions but a backing on the fabric. Some may want to recover. Priced accordingly. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Vladimir Kagan Model #100A Barrel Lounge Chair in Velvet, c. 1973, Signed
By Vladimir Kagan
Located in Los Angeles, CA
This rare collectors piece is the Vladimir Kagan model #100-A 'Barrel Lounge Chair' on ball casters, designed in 1947, signed with Vladimir Kagan Designs label. The gorgeous velvet is in a red color but with a hint of burnt orange tone giving it a beautiful warmth and softness that can benefit any space. Signature curvaceous arms make this Barrel chair easily recognizable by design fans and a go-to choice for top interior designs throughout the world. This incredible collector's piece is a glimpse into Vladi's history. The 100-A Barrel chair was designed in 1947, this particular example was produced in circa 1973 in Kagan's new (at the time) state of the art factory in Long Island, after the Hugo Dreyfuss factory burned down in 1972. Highly sought-after by both collectors and interior designers - signed examples like this one being the most desirable as Kagan's designs were often copied throughout the years. This Barrel club chair by Vladimir Kagan for Vladimir Kagan Designs would work great in a Mid-Century Modern, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Post-Modern room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. Consider using as a side chair, cafe or breakfast table chair, bedside chair...

Modern Steelcase Chrome & Red Swivel Rolling Chair #454 Style Charles Pollock
By Steelcase, Charles Pollock
Located in Topeka, KS
Lovely vintage modern Steelcase style #454 office chair with original red fabric, chrome arms, and chrome shaft with swivel & rolling 5 prong chrome base and created in the style of Charles Pollock for Knoll. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. There is some slight fading in the fabric, otherwise it is in good shape. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th Century. Not sure there is anything cooler than an awesome RED office chair… Unless it’s an awesome RED office chair by STEELCASE!! This gorgeous Steelcase #454 office rolling & swivel chair is made in the style of the Charles Pollock office chair for Knoll. Comprised of a bucket style swivel seat and covered in its ORIGINAL red upholstery, chrome arms with molded fabric armrests, five prong chrome base with casters, and a chrome tube shaft with swivel. Need a cool chair for your home office? Here you go! Maybe you need a new look in your den or study? You just found it. It is so comfortable and very versatile. Not to mention, it’s made by Steelcase AND in the style of Charles Pollock! Two high quality and exceedingly popular designs. It will be awesome in your mid-century modern setting or equally as nice in an industrial loft or modern country ranch home. WONDERFUL!!! Steelcase was founded as the Metal Office Furniture Company in 1912 by Peter M. Wege in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The Metal Office Furniture Company's first products included fireproof metal safes and four-drawer filing cabinets which Wege invented and manufactured for the Macey Company. In 1914, the company received its first product patent for "The Victor," a fireproof steel wastebasket. The Victor gained popularity due to its light weight achieved through a patented process of bending flat steel at right angles to create boxes, and its ability to prevent fires at a time when smoking was common indoors, particularly in the workplace. In 1915, the company began manufacturing and distributing steel desks and in 1937, the company collaborated with Frank Lloyd Wright on office furniture. The partnership lasted two years and resulted in some of the first modern workstations. The company officially changed its name to Steelcase, Inc. in 1954 and became known as the leader of the furniture industry in the late 1960s due to the volume of its sales and in 1973, the company debuted the Series 9000 furniture line. Steelcase merged three of its subsidiaries, Brayton International, Metro Furniture...

Modern Carter Club Chair Attr Zen Collection Bright Red with Polished Steel Legs
By Carter Furniture 1
Located in Topeka, KS
Stunning late 20th to early 21st century Modern Carter Furniture club chair attributed to Zen Collection fully upholstered in bright red euro suede with polished steel legs. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The fabric on upper back corner on back had a spot where the metal edging rubbed through fabric. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Late 20th to Early 21st Century. Bright Red Chair…. EXTRORDINAIRE!!!!! WOW!!! We are in LOVE with this beauty!!! This is a BEAUTIFUL club chair by Carter fully upholstered in a fabulous bright red ultra soft “euro suede” fabric. It has a very deep T style foam seat cushion with poly on top and bottom but not the edges, an upholstered back support which holds the loose zippered poly wrapped foam back cushion, and it stands upon four squared & slightly tapered polished steel legs. We are attributing this chair to their Zen Collection as its design is much like the “Zen sofa” currently offered by Carter and though it’s technically Modern it will go really well with Postmodern décor too. It’s very comfortable, very bright, and very much NEEDS to be your new favorite vintage piece! It would be amazing in a corner of your bedroom or dressing area, in the living room across from your sofa, in your sitting room beside a wonderful accent table, or in the study flanking the fireplace. It bares the perfect POP of color for any room and it’s sure to be a fabulous conversation piece! Carter furniture has been in business since 1976 and was purchased by Directional Furniture in 2009 however, Carter functions independently under the Directional management team. Manufacturing of Carter products is in Directional facilities located in Thomasville, North Carolina. Tomlinson/Erwin Lambeth is the parent company of Directional and they run much like a family of companies. Carter is acknowledged as one of America’s best-known contemporary seating companies with an impeccable reputation and a focus on quality and a loyal client base. Restored Pair Vintage Witco Tiki Dramatic High Back Chairs in Original Red Fur
By Witco, William Westenhaver / Witco
Located in Chattanooga, TN
Pair of restored Witco Conquistador tiki dramatic high-back chairs in original red fur. These chairs are absolutely wild in the best kind of way. The original red fur fabric has a thick pile. This bright red upholstery adds drama to the high-back, iron cladded, hand-carved chairs. These highly collectible and hard-to-find thrown chairs were born of the jet-set era. The 1960s was the golden age of air travel and Americans were absolutely fascinated with “Exotica.” Ephemera from exotic tropical lands around South Asia were all the rage and gave birth to an explosion of tiki motifs in popular American culture. We have four of these chairs available, two arm chairs and two side chairs. This listing is for just the two armless chairs. The two armchairs are sold separate. We also have the matching dining table, sold separate. We have other Witco items available including conquistador chairs in new leopard upholstery, Witco end table, and Witco cat...
