The Cocom Rocking Chair features a simple and lightweight structure with smooth, rounded lines, combined with meticulous handcrafted weaving. Made by a family of artisans from Bacalar, the weaving uses the "ojo de perdiz" technique with cotton or nylon thread.
This piece is part of the Cocom Collection, which blends tradition and modernity, elevating craftsmanship to its highest expression with attention to detail. Various endemic tropical woods from southern Mexico are used, giving each piece a vibrant tropical personality.
Inspired by traditional wicker rocking chairs and armchairs from Yucatán, the Cocom Collection aims to preserve and revitalize this artisanal legacy.
