About the Item
Dramatic Mid-Century Modern Italian sculptured settee or bench with wings. The settee features a black lacquer ebonized finish on the stylish frame with radically designed angular wings and legs. The gracefully curved frame is topped with button tufted tan leather seat cushions. The frame is strong and light with a surprisingly comfortable ergonomic slanted seat. The short armrests measure 20 inches high. No makers mark, however the settee is crafted in the manner and style of such iconic Mid-Century Modern Italian designers such as Gio Ponti and Ico Parisi. Excellent joinery and craftsmanship with a bold design and whimsical profile. Matching pair of lounge chairs also available.
