About the Item

An excellent set of two side chairs called "Riki Windsor" designed by one of the Japanese design pioneers Riki Watanabe (1911-2013) in 1984. "Riki Windsor" is a chair based on the traditional English Windsor chair, redesigned to suit the Japanese physique and living environment from Riki Watanabe's particular point of view. The chair is a sophisticated fusion of beauty and technology, including the thickness of the spokes on the back. The wooden dovetail keys in the darker color are used for an accent. This model is still manufactured by CONDE HOUSE, but these individuals were manufactured by Interior Center that was the predecessor of CONDE HOUSE. The original stickers and individual identification numbers are on the bottom of the seats. Excellent vintage condition for the age.
