Russell Woodard Tall Back Side Chairs Pair

About the Item

Russel Woodard son of Lee L. Woodard assisted his father in starting a furniture line consisting of metal in the 1930s. The furniture line in 1930 introduced a wrought-iron set of patio dining furniture This line quickly became one of the best sellers and kick-started the company's international reputation as a patio-furniture maker. After World War II, the business returned to making furniture. Over the years, Woodard and Sons would go on to master metallurgy in furniture making, developing expertise in wrought iron, cast aluminum and tubular aluminum for both indoor and outdoor pieces. These stunning chairs consist of metal with a tall back and perfect aging.
