About the Item

Listed for sale is an exceptional and very rare F40 settee / sofa, designed by Marcel Breuer and produced by renowned bauhaus manufacturer Tecta. Tecta has been bringing to life early bauhaus designs for decades and has done so with great quality and attention to detail. This piece was produced circa mid 1980s and is very unusual to find in the US. The sofa has a nickel plated tubular steel frame, along with gray suede upholstery. The upholstery has a very slight green hue to it, though generally reads as a neutral gray color. The sofa is in very nice condition with some wear from use. There is some light soiling as can be noted in the photos. The piece can be used as it is without issue or could likely be professionally cleaned. The settee measures 33 inches tall by 56.5 inches wide, and 32 inches deep. Seat height is 16.75 inches.
