This stunning rare three seater Leather Sofa was designed 1968 by Design Team De Pas , Donato d’Urbino and Paolo Lomazzi. They created one of the most iconic objects in Italian Design history. This Model named " Straccio "was produced by Zanotta. It reflects times of thick leather chairs and Sofas. Professionally reupholstered in Italy with cognac leather. Achille De Pas, Giancarlo D'Urbino, and Paolo Lomazzi were Italian architects and designers known for their influential contributions to modern design. They collaborated on various projects, creating iconic pieces of furniture and other design objects. In addition to furniture design, the trio was involved in architectural projects. They were known for their innovative and avant-garde architectural designs that reflected the spirit of the 1960s and 1970s. De Pas, D'Urbino, and Lomazzi were part of the Radical Design movement, which emerged in Italy during the 1960s. This movement aimed to break away from traditional design norms and explore new, unconventional forms. The designers were interested in creating pieces that challenged the status quo and often incorporated playful and experimental elements into their work.
