A very good looking and well made sofa, I purchased this with a view to reupholstering it in either leather or Mulberry silk velvet fabric however the green velour is just about as English Country House as you could wish for, it has aged exquisitely and has a lovely look and feel. The frame is Burr Walnut and has a wonderful grain to it
Condition wise, its exactly as pictured, the fabric is in useable order, it has the odd tiny age related imperfection but it is totally fine, the timber has been deep cleaned hand condition waxed and hand polished, it has lots of age and use related patina marks, please view the detailed pictures as they paint a very accurate portrait of the timber condition, it is by no means perfect, if that's what you are looking for then this isn't the sofa for you, this should be seen more as an original patina example
