Osvaldo Borsani White D70 Armless Sofa for Tecno, Italy 1950's

About the Item

The iconic D70 sofa was restored as it appears on a period photo with the designer—white on white. Borsani allegedly created this sofa to solve a design issue for a house where the owner was not sure which way the sofa should face. Towards Lake Leman or the room’s fireplace, Borsani decided you could do both as the sofa can be reversed at the touch of a lever. It also opens flat for a nap... Another unrestored D70 is available for COM.
