18th Century Chinese Weathered Elm Stool

About

This lovely and simple stool was made in the classical tradition of the Chinese craftsmen with dovetailed mortis and tenion joints and was created from elm, a venerated Chinese wood used through out that countries history. Made in the very late 18th century or very early 19th century this simple country form has a finely silvered surface from age and use which is dry and ancient looking. However the stool is very sturdy and safe to use
