These walnut-seated stools with tubular steel base were designed for Flora coffee at the Met Breuer. Gently curving legs encircled by a continuous rail offers a place to rest your feet. Natural walnut and matte powder-coated steel. Hand rubbed 0% VOC wood finish.

Steven Bukowski
Steven Bukowski designs functional and expressive furniture in New York City. His work explores the space between art and design, drawing heavily from his familial background in fabrication and craft. His rich understanding of form, color, materials, and manufacturing processes lends itself to a collection that is thoughtfully designed for a lifetime of use. Steven founded his Brooklyn-based design practice in 2016. In that same year he designed the bar seating for the renowned Flora Bar, located within the Met Breuer building. In 2017 he participated in the annual Sight Unseen OFFSITE exhibition and was named a recipient of the American Design Hot List Award. His work has been published in Domino Magazine, Architectural Digest, Wallpaper, and W Magazine to name a few.
Shown in Walnut and Matte Black powder coat.
Domestic hardwood species available include white oak, walnut, maple or ash.
Metal types include powder coated steel, or satin brass, nickel, and copper plate.
