A pair of Pierre Jeanneret sewing stools, also known as model PJ-SI-68-A, made in Chandigarh, India, circa 1955. Jeanneret’s simple and functional designs, which were also robust and sturdy, were executed by local craftsmen, and included bamboo, iron rod, rope, caning, cotton, and upholstery.
