Royal House Antiques is delighted to offer for sale this lovely pair of antique Italian / Carolean throne armchairs with ornately carved bases and William Morris style flat top arms

These chairs are large and super decorative, they have wonderful frames which scream Italian decadence. The upholstery is a circa 1960's velour which is very English Country House fine, I bought them to reupholster in leather but alas, other projects have taken over
Condition wise the frames are strong and stable, the timber has been cleaned waxed and polished and is in good order throughout

Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of cracking creasing and wear, we recommend regular waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
