About the Item

A tall and imposing Wilhelm II Vitrine for displaying books, China and/or collectibles in a warm amber-toned oak, with two glass-paneled doors and a carved pierced bonnet flanked by turned steeple-finials. Holland, circa 1845. Aside from the inherent beauty of the design, one of the attractive features of this armoire/vitrine is its narrow depth at just 19". Previously used as a clothing cabinet in a walk-in closet, it would also function very well for towels in a large bathroom. With the exception of the glass and the knife hinges, which allow the doors to open flush, both being later additions, everything else is original. Makes a great display cupboard, bookcase or linen cabinet! Measures: 59" wide x 19" deep (top molding) x 98" high. Carved bonnet comes out from the wall 27" Note: You should always request a shipping quote. Quoted amounts are an estimate of what it might cost to ship out to you based on destinations of the greatest distance. We would love to find you a better quote if possible.
