About the Item

We are delighted to offer for sale this very large Antique circa 1900 waterfall bookshelf with original distressed period paint A very good looking well made and decorative piece, this is the largest of its type I have ever seen, at over 2 meters wide it is a whopper, made from solid oak and with pine back panels This is a very utilitarian piece, it can be used for a large plant display, books, trinkets, given the English country house nature of it, it will look Classic and charming in any setting The finish is original with a good honest patina throughout Dimensions Height:- 127cm Width:- 205cm Depth:- 59cm Please note all measurements are taken at the widest point This item is available for collection from our Pulborough warehouses Condition Please view the very detailed pictures as they form part of the description pertaining to the condition. Please note vintage period and original items such as leather seating will always have natural patina in the form of creasing and wear, we recommend annual waxing to ensure no moisture is lost, also hand dyed leather is not recommended to sit in direct sunlight for prolonged periods of time as it will dry out and fade.
