About the Item

A Impressive Italian Baroque Polychrome and Giltwood Open Bookcase, 19th Century The broken pediment comprised of three downturned C scrolls, the two flanking with rocailles interior and pendant acanthus, the main body with a raised moulded border surrounding a central motif of a crown above scrolled initials, with the overlapped letters ‘A’ and ‘M’. the opening surrounded by conforming moulded border, the opening with four adjustable shelves, the moulding descending to a shaped and skirted base, the whole with pastel green ground and gilt accents. Home decor, interior design and collectibles. Provenance: Private Sydney Collection. Dimensions: Height: 302cm. Width: 180cm. Depth: 45cm.
