About the Item
Beautiful and clever bar-cabinet designed by Torbjorn Afdal and manufactured by Bruksbo, Norway in the 1960s. The structure is made of Rio rosewood, in a deep color, and the bar tops are made of black formica. Very decorative, this bar has a real function because it allows you to store glasses, bottles, cocktail accessories. It is a refined piece of furniture with a high quality of workmanship.

Torbjørn Afdal
Torbjørn Afdal was one of the leading designers at Bruksbo Tegnekontor and in Scandinavia. Afdal became more well known when his furniture was bought by US first lady Jacqueline Kennedy and by the Japanese Emperor. In later years, he was granted the commission to design the parliamentary and chairs and tables to the courthouse in Oslo.
