Kaare Klint, 1888-1954 Filling or office cabinet crafted in solid Cuban mahogany with two sliding door with smooth sliding mechanism, that opens up to multiple shelves. Resting on a rosewood base, rails for sliding doors crafted in ebony. Designed in 1933. Presented at the Copenhagen Cabinet-makers’ Guild Exhibition the same year. No. 14634, manufactured by Rud. Rasmussen, approx. 1933. In excellent condition, tastefully refinished. Denmark approx. 1933 Literature: Grete Jalk, Danish Furniture Art 40 years, volume 2, p. 28 Kaare Klint was a renowned Danish architect and furniture designer known for his significant contributions to the Danish modern design movement.
