About the Item

Large two-door Louis Seize cabinet with bevelled corners and profiled and curved cornice. The cabinet stands on moulded ball feet and is veneered in walnut. Large gilded bronze medallion fittings adorn the keyholes. The green-painted interior consists of shelves and a clothes rail. The unusual marquetry veneer shows framing fields and large oval medallions in the Louis-Seize style. Rosettes and coin ribbons complete the decoration.
