About the Item
Pair of mid century Scandinavian elm cabinets circa 1950.
Very good quality pair of elm cabinets, with empire and art deco influences.
Each made in 1 piece, both feature and open aperture with a single glass shelf held in place by brass brackets. These shelves have just been replaced with toughened glass and polished edges. Below the top surface each cabinet has double doors that open to reveal different interiors. 1 containing a single shelf with partition potential, and the other with a shaped shelf and door mounted shelves with brass galleries. Lending itself perfectly to a drinks bar.
Standing on tapering legs with brass tips.
Expected surface marks in line with age. 1 area of light water damage to serving surface which is photographed.
Good rich colour with contrasting birch interiors.
