Elegant and sophisticated antique French Louis XV style kingwood parquetry marble-top commode sauteuse. Born in France in the 19th century, exquisitely hand-crafted in luxurious 18th century King Louis 15th taste, retaining the original dramatically veined rouge marble top with serpentine shaped front and molded edge, over conforming serpentine-front solid wood bombe case fitted with two dovetailed drawers, exotic kingwood veneer with intricate banding, adorned with finely chased, chiseled and sculpted Rocaille gilt bronze ormolu mounts, scalloped apron, rising on cabriole legs, terminating in gilt bronze sabots. Dimensions: (approx) 33.25" High, 37" Wide, 19.75" Deep Great original unrestored antique condition with beautifully aged warm patina. Wear consistent with age and use. Delivered cleaned, waxed, with hand rubbed polished French patina finish, ready for immediate use and generational enjoyment!

A rare and magnificently decorative antique Spanish Fernandino style mahogany chest of drawers commode and mirror. Hand-crafted in Spain in the late 19th century, surmounted by the monumental dresser mirror with finely hand carved giltwood bird crest, atop flat mirror plates, framed by ornate scrolling foliates. Mounted over a mahogany bombe shaped chest accented with contrasting string banded inlay, gilded birds perched on stylized scrolled foliate, flanking four drawers. The solid wooden case fitted with a projecting frieze drawer, over three larger drawers, rising on sculptural patinated gilt wood ancient Egyptian Sphinx form front feet. Bold, dramatic and luxurious yet with an elegant warmth, and visually striking sophistication, the two piece set can be used a variety of different ways, including in the bedroom as a dresser / commode, in the dining room as a sideboard server, credenza console, or placed in the foyer as a stunning entry statement piece! A unique signed original Baroque Sauteuse commode from the 18th century. Exceptionally executed, this elegant German mid-sized walnut cabinet presents with absolutely beautiful inlay works, including patchwork marquetry, scrolled inlay and fine inlayed thread work that provide this unique period commode a fine touch of luxury. Finished in Rococo Louis XV taste, the artisans carefully selected highest quality, warm, rich woods, including burled walnut, fruitwood, olive wood, burl maple and various other exotic woods. Having a serpentine shaped top and case fitted with two gorgeous curved drawers, each with parcel-gilt brass pulls and interior paper lining marked Fabrication Allemande. Both the case and drawers have been joined by hand carved dovetail joinery. Resting over a wonderfully shaped and hand carved solid walnut base, accented by simple scroll running ornamentation carvings along the apron, gracefully rising on high cabriole legs, terminating on hoof feet. Exquisitely hand-crafted in France in the late 18th / early 19th century, exceptionally executed in elegant, sophisticated and luxurious King Louis 15th taste, topped with the original rouge red Pyrenees marble top with striking white veining, serpentine-shaped front and molded edge, over a conforming solid wood case fitted with a secret hidden storage compartment and four dovetailed drawers, each with ornate gilt-bronze handles and escutcheons. When you remove the top left drawer, the center panel with faux escutcheon can slide over and reveal a concealed wooden drawer for valuables.
