About the Item

A very decorative and imposing early 18th Century Venetian, Red Chinoiserie lacquer bombe commode. Having ebonized boarders with gilded scrolling foliate decoration surrounding inset red lacquer panels depicting classical oriental scenes of pagoda building, men on horse back, bridges and blossom trees. Two large pine lined drawers with the original brass handles, raised on elegant out swept feet. Batch 78 62825. UNKZZ
