Chippendale Bow Front Chest

About the Item

American 18th century Chippendale bow front ball and claw foot chest, likely from the Boston area 1780-90. Over hanging top above four cock beaded graduated drawers. Mahogany with white Pine secondary case wood. String inlay detail on the top front edge and the drawer faces. Hardware is a later replacement in the original holes. Original blocking ,key and working original locks. Very good color and restored French polish surface.
