Located in Atlanta, GA
This exceptional 17th-century Italian commode is a striking example of Baroque craftsmanship, crafted from richly grained walnut that has developed a warm, natural patina over the centuries. The commode features four drawers, each with intricately molded paneling and adorned with ornate brass hardware, reflecting the attention to detail characteristic of the period. The front showcases bold geometric carvings, while the sides feature diamond-shaped paneling, all hallmarks of Italian Baroque design, which emphasized grandeur and architectural detailing.
