About the Item
A exceptional and finely crafted antique walnut bombe chest of drawers with a banded panel constructed top. The three long drawers with carved panels and heavy brass pulls with rosette attachments and brass crest form escutcheons (lacking the key). A serpentine skirt rail with a carved shell at the center. The three recessed side panels conform to the bombe drawers. Raised on short front cabriole legs with a snail foot and curved back legs.
Dimensions: 49 1/2" long x 24 1/4" deep x 34 1/4" high
Condition: Please review the detail photos. Various signs of age and use include scratches, marks, chips and stains to the top with a stable age split along one panel. A few scratches to the legs. Some stable age splits to the inside drawer panels all mentioned for accuracy as the presentation is Classic French Provincial.
